During completion of last voyages of the Dan Tysk Project, Manora started the first load out of foundations for the Humber gateway project. Humber gateway, with 73 installed turbines, will have a installed capacity of 219 MW, and provide electricity for some 170.000 families in the UK. Each transition piece weighs some 250 ton, and has a length of over 30 meters. Again Manora coordinates all transport activities, and designed the sea fastening on board of the pontoon. We are responsible for the deliveries from yard upto alongside the installation vessel MPI Discovery, which will take the units directly on board, using its own crane. First T/P was loaded under a bright and sunny sky, hope this may continue during the rest of the project.
