Manora Logistics delivered the first badge of 6 transition pieces for the new windfarm “Rampion” at the terminal of Verbrugge in Flushing. A pontoon, assisted by two tugs, and equipped with steel grillage and clamps, delivered the 250 ton units, after which they were offloaded on the terminal using a crawler crane. In a few months the foundations will be installed in the English Channel, off the South East coast of the UK. After completion by E.ON, the 116 unit of 3,45 MW, will deliver power to 290.000 UK families and save some 600.000 ton CO2 annually. Another nice achievement for Manora!
